Jiana Ashkar I am 15 and I am from Jaffa. I study in Terra Santa school. Living in Jaffa is interesting - every day is like a movie. There are always problems - it's like an action movie with car chases.
'Christmas at grandma's house'My grandma was sleeping, my aunt was watching TV and it was Christmas time when I took this picture. My aunt looks after my grandma who is sick. On Christmas eve the whole family comes to grandma's house. We all help to decorate the tree. All the children were born in the house - including my father, I think. It's a very old house.
'My father' This is a happy picture. It's important to my father that the family should be happy and smile. He says, 'If you smile then the world smiles back at you; if you don't smile, the world steps away'. I agree.
'Self-portrait' My mother stands where the light is in this picture and she is the light. And my little brother is younger than me and he's standing in line. I took this in my bedroom looking into the mirror and behind me is the balcony.
