| World Jewish Relief International Development Programme Intern |
|
We are looking to recruit an intern to join our busy International Programmes team and assist WJR in monitoring grants, strengthening programming and growing our resource base. Based in our north London office, the internship involves at least one overseas visit to one of our projects, a structured programme of formal and informal training and is a unique entry point for someone seeking to gain work experience in the International Development sector. Working as part of a small team and with the support of senior management, you will learn about the practicalities of project and grant management, research and proposal formulation, budget setting and monitoring.
In return we
are looking for between three and five full days unpaid work a week for
6 months – with travel, lunch and training course expenses paid. We
need a highly motivated enthusiastic individual with exceptional
interpersonal skills who is willing to get "stuck in" and help us make
a difference to peoples' lives. Further details and information on WJR's work can be found at the World Jewish Relief website. |
