It's that time of year again. Looking for somewhere to go for the High Holy Days? Here’s how to get a ticket for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services, including free tickets at many Reform synagogues. Rosh Hashanah starts 28th September and Yom Kippur starts 7th October.
Reform SynagoguesFree High Holy Day tickets are
available for 18-30 year olds at many Reform shuls across the UK. You
simply call the Movement and pick a shul from the list of participating
communities. Please note that not all synagogues are participating in
the programme. Your ticket will then be sent to you. For full details, visit the Movement for Reform Judaism website .
Liberal Synagogues You can access High Holy Day services through the Passport to Liberal Judaism scheme. There is a sliding scale of charges depending on your age and more details can be found at the Liberal Judaism website .
Masorti SynagoguesIf you are a student, tickets for services at New London Synagogue are £25.00 and £20.00 at New North London Synagogue. For other young adult rates and for information on other communities, contact the Assembly of Masorti Synagogues via their website.
Orthodox SynagoguesTribe Community Membership is the membership scheme of the United Synagogue for singles aged 21-30. Joining gives you full membership of your local shul. Contact Tribe via their website for further information and details on High Holy Day services.
