| Making Tracks with KOP |
 In November 2010 KOP are going to Kenya to cycle around 500km across the country from Nairobi to Kisumu. The aim is to raise awareness and funds for their programmes in western Kenya.
The trip will be a pretty challenging physical journey but will also be one for forming friendships, deepening our understanding of Kenya and its people and importantly culminating in time spent in Kisumu visiting the KOP projects and communities. The first 35 places are heavily subsidised and the trip will take place between 5th – 14th November 2010.
KOP: the Kenyan Orphan Project was started in 2001 by 3 medical students with the vision to fight against poverty, disease, social exclusion and injustice and to help improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya. |
