TAFI UK has secured a small number of places for the British 10K London Run, which takes place on the morning of Sunday 11 July 2010. This is a fantastic opportunity to get fit and to raise money to support equality, coexistence and building a shared society between Israel’s Jewish and Arab citizens!
The race route is undoubtedly the most historic and sporting 10K route in the UK, running through the heart of historic London, passing many of London’s world famous and iconic sights. These include Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner, St. James’s Palace, Trafalgar Square, the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral, the unique London Eye, Big Ben, the Houses Of Parliament and historic Westminster Abbey before finishing on Whitehall, just past the entrance of 10 Downing Street. The finish line is also close to the Cenotaph, where every Remembrance Sunday, the nation remembers those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of the realm. TAFI UK: UK Friends of The Abraham Fund Initiatives was set up to support the work of the Abraham Fund in Israel. Our aim is to raise awareness in the UK of the importance of the Fund's work and to provide financial and other support to The Abraham Fund in Israel.
Our members include Jews, Muslims, Christians and members of other communities in the UK who are united in the belief that Israel can and should be both a homeland for the Jewish people and a democratic state for all its citizens, Jews and Arabs alike.
