Interfaith Community Programme in Switzerland
This month-long course is designed to enable participants to encounter each other in mutual respect, to learn together, and to challenge and overcome stereotypes. If you are interested you'll need to be in touch very soon as the programme starts on 5th July.

Building an Interfaith Community- Summer Course at the Ecumenical Institute, Bossey, Switzerland.

While fully respecting and affirming each particular faith identity, the overall question to be explored is: What can we, as people of faith, do to respond and to overcome, the pressing challenges of our time and build together a mutually accountable society based on respect and cooperation?

The course is open to participants aged 18-35 years, with a maximum of 30 participants to be accepted on the course. Participants should be well grounded in their own faiths and be positioned to influence the thinking of members of their wider faith communities after the summer course ends. The structure of the programme will include (i) spiritual exposure and sharing (ii) reflection on sacred scriptures and (iii) lectures and workshops on thematic issues.

The cost of the course is CHF 3,300 including course tuition and board and lodging. A small number of scholarships are available to assist participants in attending the course.

Application forms and more information can be found at the Ecumenical Institute of Bossey's website.
