MUJU Upstarts
The MUJU crew bring Muslims and Jews together through a shared passion for creating art Do you have a passion for creating art? Would you like to be involved in devising a new piece of theatre as well as participating in a meaningful chance to work with people of different faiths?

The MUJU Crew bring Muslims and Jews together through a shared passion for creating art, and we are pleased to continue the Thursday open workshop – Upstarts. Upstarts is an opportunity to get involved in all aspects of devising a new piece of theatre as well as participating in a meaningful chance to work with people of different faiths.

Upstarts kicks off 2011 with a new director and the opportunity to perform work inspired by untold true stories of Muslim heroes during WW2 and the Holocaust. With the stories as stimulus, the group will collaborate alongside director, Josh Azouz, to devise a show, and perform at the Tricycle Theatre in May. No theatre experience is necessary, just an open mind. Expect drama, debate and lots of laughs.

Sessions will take place on Thursday nights from 7.15pm-9.00pm at The Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn. Potential actors, directors & writers are all welcome to attend!
