| Mitzvah Day Internships |
Internships in Design and Publicity, and PR and Communications are available with Mitzvah Day.
Design and Publicity Internship at Mitzvah Day (June-August). Mitzvah Day is a national (and now international) charity promoting social action through collective volunteering across the community. We work with other faiths, making a real difference to the lives of thousands on Mitzvah Day each year, this year on November 20th 2011. We are looking for a part-time intern (2-3 days a week or equivalent). The internship will be based at the Jewish Social Action Hub, NW6. We require someone with design skills and knowledge of programmes including Photoshop and In Design. The internship will involve creating publicity materials, formatting and designing a newsletter and general design work. The intern will also need to 'muck in' with general team work. Any applicant must have solid IT skills, excellent organizational skills, an interest in social action and a working knowledge of Jewish community.
Basic expenses plus £10 a day stipend. In addition we will involve
you in our charity, invite you to meetings and seminars in the
innovative Jhub in West Hampstead, and help you to network and to learn.

PR and Communications Internship at Mitzvah Day (September-November). The internship will involve creating publicity materials, including our newsletter and helping with the promotion of Mitzvah Day in the run up to the event. A student studying marketing, PR, communications or similar would be ideal but others with relevant interest could apply. As this internship will run until Mitzvah Day, the intern will also need to contribute to the general team work where necessary.
