If you’re in a mixed-faith relationship and thinking about getting married, this is the event you want to be at. We’ll help you not only plan your wedding, but also figure out how to live happily and harmoniously ever after!
Sessions include:

- Why are we getting married anyway?
- How to fight so that you both win
- Crucifixes and mezuzas: responding to religious symbols
- Incorporating religious rituals and events into your home life
- How might we do Shabbat?
- Seeing what our religious traditions have to say about raising children
Presenters and facilitators include:
- Rabbi Miriam Berger - Finchley Reform Synagogue
- Adam Overlander-Kaye – experienced Jewish educator
- David Berkovich and Ceri Richards – mixed-faith couple
- Esther Aronsfeld – Interfaith wedding minister
- Zahavit Shalev – Jewish educator and Jeneration project worker
The event is being organised by Zahavit Shalev whose work for Jeneration
is all about helping people find a Jewish life that’s right for them.
Zahavit Shalev is married to David, who was raised a Quaker. They have three children and are very engaged in the Jewish community. Zahavit works in adult Jewish education, with particular emphasis on engaging with people who aren’t Jewish but have found themselves gravitating towards a Jewish life through their Jewish partner.
