West London Synagogue Young Adults - 20s and 30s learning Torah at the local pub, the Temperance.
West London Young Adults is a welcoming community of people in their 20s/30s within West London Synagogue. We run events and programmes both inside and outside the synagogue walls, taking advantage of both our stunning building and this great city. We believe that Jewish life now is as appealing and meaningful as it ever was for young adults and back that up with quality spiritual, educational, cultural and social experiences. |

The Temperance is the perfect retreat from the bustle of Marylebone and Baker Street nearby and is just a short walk from Madame Tussauds and The Planetarium. The décor is simple, hand painted Victorian flock wallpaper, oak panelling, large sash windows and plum banquette seating create a convivial atmosphere. The pub is popular with the local offices and tourists at lunch who enjoy the freshly prepared homely food and who then return in the evening to mingle with the locals. The weekend is for those who enjoy supplements, Bloody Marys and roasts. Outside seating is on the sunny side of the street, ideal for a pint and a tan. |
