Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a national training programme developed to:
Did you know that one in four individuals will experience at least one diagnosable mental health problem in a year? This course would strengthen the support that you offer to those affected by mental health problems, enabling you to identify and help those affected in your community, workplace, their families and friends.
This is a 12-hour course, developed and regulated by the National Institute of Mental Health in England (NIMHE) and England's Care Services Improvement Partnerships (CSIP). Participants will receive a CISP certificate and manual on successful completion of the course.
The course is for anyone who may come into contact with a person with a mental health problem either in their day to day life and/or workplace.
Sunday 7th March (11am-5pm), Tuesday 9th (7pm-10pm) and Thursday 11th March (7pm-10pm), at the Moishe House in Willesden Green (details below). £55 early bird rate for the 12-hour course, £105 for those who sign up three weeks before the course. We are both approved MHFA Instructors.
