Lucy Kaitcer - Leeds

Lucy is currently a second year student at Leeds University studying History of Art. She is from Manchester, where she grew up in the youth movement Habonim Dror. She carried on participating in Habo, leading summer and winter camps including a social action roadshow trying to help those less fortunate. Lucy did a gap year in Israel with Habo, spending 3 months on a kibbutz and 6 month living a socialist lifestyle in a house with 18  other people, where she volunteered in Israeli schools teaching English.

Lucy has had experience with promotions and events planning, as she was on the JSoc charity ball committee this year.

She has a passion for art, is creative and loves to create ideas and push them to their most innovative extent. She enjoys socialising and is an outgoing individual.

Lucy wants to get Jewish students in Leeds to stay connected to their Judaism and Jewish identity in whichever way they wish to express themselves, as everyone does it in their own way. Lucy would be extremely happy to help out with anything so don't hesitate to contact her if you have any questions.
