New position available at Mitzvah Day! Mitzvah Day is a national (and now international) charity promoting social action and building community bridges through collective volunteering on Mitzvah Day. We work with other faiths, making a real difference to the lives of thousands each year.
TAFI UK has secured a small number of places for the British 10K London Run, which takes place on the morning of Sunday 11 July 2010. This is a fantastic opportunity to get fit and to raise money to support equality, coexistence and building a shared society between Israel’s Jewish and Arab citizens!
JHub is currently looking to recruit an Intern to work as an Administrator in JHub and Campaigns Assistant to The Jewish Social Action Forum. The internship will last 4 months. The role will suit someone with experience of working in an office and who has an interest in the Jewish Social Justice field.
In November 2010 KOP are going to Kenya to cycle around 500km across the country from Nairobi to Kisumu. The aim is to raise awareness and funds for their programmes in western Kenya.
Jeneration and Frontier have created a two week trip to Kenya to undertake and explore social action projects in the field. This trip will include community building projects, meeting locals and sight-seeing and importantly learning and follow up to create ambassadors for social action within the British Jewish community.
